This house in Masha has been cut off from everybody, jammed in between the Wall, a blocked road and a Jewish colony.  The family of Um Nidal didn’t want to let expropriate their house for the expansion of the Israeli Colony (settlement).  Consequence: this settlement has been built very nearby their house.  At the other side, the Israeli government built the Wall.  At the back of the house are beautiful roads, but the same roads near the house are blocked with iron fences.

Dit huis in Masha is afgesneden van iedereen, ingeklemd tussen Muur, wegafsluiting en Joodse kolonie.
De familie van Um Nidal weigerde hun huis te laten onteigenen voor uitbreiding van de Israëlische kolonie (settlement). Gevolg: dit settlement bouwde tot vlak naast het huis. Aan de andere kant bouwde de Israëlische regering de Muur. Aan de achterkant van het huis liggen mooie wegen, maar naast het huis werden die wegen met ijzerwerk afgezet
